Solar Fest 2008 will rock Maverick Park on Saturday, May 3 with fun for the whole family. Learn about renewable energy and enjoy live music from an all-solar powered stage including local bands The Dinners, Peacefield, The Krayolas and more. There will even be prize drawings for solar goods and gadgets throughout the day.

An important event for the South Texas community, Solar Fest provides valuable information to the public about renewable energy technologies, the impact of sustainable living, and green building techniques. An ever expanding variety of products and services showcase the best of solar technology, recycling, energy efficient materials, hybrid and electric vehicles and more.

Get Involved

Solar Fest has exciting opportunities for volunteers , vendors , and sponsors to support solar and renewable energy solutions in our city.

Exhibitors

We are currently accepting applications for vendors in these categories: solar and other renewable energy products; hybrid and electric vehicles; environmental products and services; energy efficient products; green building techniques and others.

We also need quality food vendors for a couple thousand hungry festival attendants.

Keep in mind our overall message of sustainability by being environmentally sensitive. Please hand out only essential business information, don't needlessly distribute plastic bags, etc. We want to keep waste to a minimum!
