Annual Luncheon
This year on May 18th, Solar San Antonio will host out luncheon to showcase the progress we have made in our community and celebrate our founder and Chairman, Bill Sinkin’s 99th birthday.
Solar Fest
Each year, on the first Saturday in May, a fusion of education and entertainment around solar energy brings the community out to enjoy live music, solar demonstrations, food and fun under the live oaks of Maverick Park. An important annual event for the South Texas community, Solar Fest provides valuable information to the public about renewable energy technologies, the impact of sustainable living, and green building techniques.

Solar Tour
Get ready to be inspired! Solar San Antonio is bringing together over 25 homes and businesses with SOLAR in Bexar County to help educate people about the benefits of solar energy. Meet local solar installers, get answers to your questions from homeowners, and learn what it means to go solar! www.solartoursa.com
Bring Solar Home
Bring Solar Home is an initiative of Solar San Antonio to encourage local solar commitments and educate the community on the benefits of solar energy. We are working with CPS Energy, solar installers, and financial institutions to simplify the process of “going solar.” By bridging the gap between consumers and industry professionals, we are increasing the number of solar installations in San Antonio. The Bring Solar Home campaign will launch on September 12. If you would like to be among the first to participate in the Bring Solar Home campaign, please fill out the online form. A member of our staff will contact you when the campaign begins.
Workshops / Power Breakfasts
Held periodically, “Power Breakfasts” are an opportunity to hear nationally recognized speakers discussing topics related to solar and other renewable energy.
