Learn more about Bill Sinkin
Long-time San Antonio community leader and activist, Bill Sinkin, founded Solar San Antonio in 1999 with the mission of opening San Antonio’s doors to the vast potential of solar power. Advocating for solar for more than 30 years, Bill hosted one of San Antonio’s first major solar installations on the rooftop of his bank in the 1980s. Now at the age of 99, Bill remains one of the most forward-thinking and committed individuals in our community when it comes to harnessing the power of the sun.
